Sk8r boy!

The first broken bone in my body was my wrist. Way back in 6th grade. And i owed it to my habit of skating in the house! Well, i grew out of skating rather fast after that incident. the other day, many years later since my broken wrist, i was looking through the longboard skateboards collection and it got me thinking.
From the perspective of the Skateboard Marketer, was a kid like me an outlier (to borrow from
marketing research jargon)? I think not, the average pre-teen is the market for skateboards in my observance. Skating is an evergreen marketing pasture. Never goes out of fashion and every one is fascinated by it at some point in their life!
